Thank you for your interest in booking food trucks through the Southern Idaho Food Truck Association (SIFTA). SIFTA connects event organizers with professional food trucks across the Treasure Valley and Southern Idaho. Before submitting your request, we encourage you to review the guidelines below to help ensure a successful event for both organizers and vendors.
Truck-to-Attendee Ratio
For most events, we recommend 1 food truck for every 100–200 attendees if the majority of guests will be eating.
Event Minimums
Many food trucks operate with minimum sales requirements to cover food, labor, and operating costs. Minimums vary depending on the day, event duration, and expected attendance.
Attendance Estimates
Food trucks prepare ingredients and staffing in advance based on estimated attendance. Providing realistic attendance numbers helps trucks prepare appropriately and avoid food shortages or waste.
